Conviction in Murder Case on Dhantala PS.

On the issue of land related dispute, on 04.07.24, one Asadul Mondal@ Asharul Mondal of Duttapulia, Dhantala, murdered his handicapped sister by assaulting her with an iron rod on the head. A case was started and the accused was arrested. Investigation was promptly completed, and the case was taken up for trial monitoring.

The trial was completed and the Ld ADJ FTC, Ranaghat has convicted the accused Asadul Mondal u/s 103(1) BNS and he has been awarded the sentence of Life imprisonment.
